I just wanted to share from an author's perspective and to "expose" the high points of getting around the new interface. Use this guide to learn authoring and publishing Help, policies and procedures, and knowledgebase content on Windows and macOS.
I call them "demos" because while they are instructive, they are not meant to substitute for the in-depth learning you get from two or three day courses that are instructor led by certified instructors. The latest version of RoboHelp (2017 release) helps you to easily create next. Double-click a script file in Script Explorer or Windows. It is used by industry professionals to deliver engaging help content, e-learning resources, organizational policies and knowledge base articles to a wide audience irrespective of device form factor. Select the Adobe RoboHelp 8 option as the target application from the drop-down list in the ESTK. Next week I'll be posting another lengthy Demo #2 which will cover some of the more advanced topics. Adobe RoboHelp is a popular Help Authoring Tool (HAT) from Adobe. I created this as a Captivate video (as opposed to a non-interactive YouTube), so it has a Table of Contents on the left to help you jump ahead to a topic of interest or go backwards to review something.
